Now the Internet plays a crucial role in the communication strategy of the companies. However, computer-based corporate communication is too often fault-prone, e.g. the information distribution which does not meet the requirements or is time-delayed, that annoys the customers and the interested parties. Such serious lacks might not only cause that stakeholders of a firm remain unsatisfied and make wrong decisions, but also could have tremendous effects on primary objectives of an enterprise, e.g. the reputation suffers, potentially the share price plunges. In this paper is presented the conception of the creation of knowledge-based Stakeholder Information Systems (SIS). The objective is to help companies to run an information system, which adapts automatically to situations, stakeholders and their roles as well as to personal characteristics and preferences of the users. The results of the research are based on a number of experiences made e.g. with SAP and Siemens.
