The article presents an approach to the scientific substantiation of requirements for numerical indicators of positioning accuracy of high-speed autonomous mobile objects using probability theory. The criterion for forming requirements for accuracy indicators is the safety of driving in conditions of random obstacles along the way. The obtained quantitative estimates of accuracy indicators can be used when choosing navigation equipment for high-speed moving objects, organizing safe traffic, as well as to justify the requirements for navigation support in conditions of sudden obstacles.
