Approaches to the educational audit

The education system is the pivotal factor in human development and intellectual skill acquisition, the sustainable economic growth in the medium and long term. In this regard, the problems of assessing the quality of education are of particular relevance. The competitive educational programs and additional services of universities in Russia and abroad make it possible to provide educational audit procedures. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the educational audit of the university, which competence includes providing information to interested users with regard to the quality of the university activity in higher education in terms of issuing government documents and assigning qualifications of the relevant standard. Based on the objectives and principles stated herein, the author devises the stages of the educational audit that will allow one to standardize the audit procedures and provide uniform requirements for the collection and systematization of information on the educational institution activities.
