The article describes the main approaches to improving personnel motivation system for a small innovative company that could lead to an increase in labor productivity in the company. The analysis of the main approaches to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the present day ideas taking into account small innovative companies' activity was carried out. On the bases of the analysis the author provides recommendations on how to use present day approaches in a small innovative company.
