Approaches to internal training of personnel as a most important component of the development of human capital of the firm

The needs of different companies require different knowledge and skills from the staff. In this regard, the training of personnel becomes relevant. The article discusses approaches to the concept of in-house training. Based on the analysis of concepts, the author’s definition of the term is highlighted. It was determined in which cases firms need intrafirm training of personnel; peculiarities of the effectiveness of methods of intrafirm training in companies were considered; selection of staff to be trained; the frequency of repetition of in-house training; features of the system for evaluating the effectiveness of staff training.
