The article deals with theoretical aspects that reveal the content of tourism subsystems as an economic system. It was noted that the tourist market is the economic system in tourism. The stages of the production of tourist services as tourism underpins are determined. The characteristic components of a tourist product are established, stages of its formation and forms of realization are consistently presented. The peculiarities of subsystem of consumption of tourist products are revealed, as well as the effect of external effects on the tourist market.
