Subtaiga elements of flora in the northwest of the Volga Upland

The article contains information on the results of the analysis of the geographical composition of the natine flora of the northwestern part of the Volga Upland: the subtaiga geographical element is considered. The group of subtaiga elements of the flora includes species currently confined to both the mixed forest belt and those distributed simultaneously in the taiga and broad-leaved forests. An overview of the taxonomic composition of the subtaiga geographical element, biomorphological, geographical and ecological-phytocenotic analyses, as well as information on the distribution features of subtaiga species in the study area are provided. Particular attention is paid to species located in the northwest of the Volga Upland on the borders of their ranges or near them.
