X-radiation absorption by polymers of construction purpose, considered as materials for making the main components of the Ilizarov fixator

It was established that the maximal amount of X-radiation absorption, which is characteristic of high-strong polymers–an epoxide binder composition, didn't exceed 15% for the half-ring width. This was considerably lower in comparison with bone tissue X-radiation absorption, which was 80-90% experimetally. That means that probably making the roentgenolucent components of the Ilizarov fixator from high-strong polymers is possible.
