Funeral rite of the Tashtyk culture is distinguished by the variety of traditions. It combines two ways of burial of people. They are inhumation and cremation. At the middle of the 20-th century researchers noted that in the Tashtyk tombs among the entombed people according to the rite of inhumation with the Tashtyk tombs the mummificated remains sacrificed burials of people can de seen. Taking into consideration this fact E. B. Vadetskaya noted the existence of mummification rite of the dead people only in tombs of the right bank of the Yenisei River. We have made typological, map graphical and quantitative analysis of the funeral rite of the Tashtyk tombs. As a result, we revealed fie local version in the Tepsey period (V-VII centuries before our era) of the Tashtyk culture. The tombs of the right bank of the Yenisei River are characterized by the existence of mummification, cremation and sacrifice rites. In tombs of the valleys of the Abakan River cremation rite displays mummification completely, there is sacrifice rite of the dead people as a whole body, his separate parts or childish skulls. The main feature of the tombs in the territory of the Syd-Yerbinsk basin is the existence of two ways of burial. They are cremation and sacrifices of the dead people. The most wide - spread rite in the territory of the Chulym-Yenisei basin is the cremation rite of the dead people outside with the following inserting on ash into funeral urn. Sometimes sacrifice rite can be seen here. Also the tradition of burning a body in a tomb begins here. In tombs in the territory of the Mariinsk wooded plain only the rite of burning of the dead people outside as well as in tombs is wide - spread.
