Funeral rites of Kylalahti Kalmistomaki burial ground in North-Western Ladoga lake region (based on the results of the archaeological research of 2006-2009)

The main features of the funeral rites of Kylalahti burial ground are analysed in the article. The site was studied in 2006-2009 by the Ladoga archaeological expedition from the RAS museum of the World Anthropology and Ethnography. The history of the research, the features of the above-grave stone structure, objects placed together with the deceased inside the grave, treatment of the dead bodies, and location of the deceased are considered. Generalizations on the character of the monuments are made.
