Funeral ritual of the Turk culture's nomads of Sayan-Altay region

During the long-term works in the territory of the Mountain Altay, the Tuva and the Minousinsk intermountain hollow a lot of funeral objects of the Turk culture were excavated. Some experience in the field of interpretation of the results of researching was obtained. But at the same time there are a lot of questions which are necessary to study single-mindedly. The main results of the analyses of different components of the funeral ritual of the Turk culture′s population of the Sayan-Altay region are presented in the article. More than 300 monuments of this community was studied. Such features as the orientation and the position of the deads and the specificity of the attendant burial of the horse were concerned. The systematization of this materials permitted to pick out two groups of monuments, which characterized by the different standard of the funeral ritual. The possible explanations of the specificity of revealed traditions were presented. The comparison of the facts obtained with the results of studying of the funeral rite of the Turk culture will permit to concerning of the historic-cultural and the ethno-social processes in the Sayan-Altay region in the early Middle Ages in detail.
