Burial No. 381e of Starokorsunskaya settlement No. 2 yielded two Knidian amphorae, hand-made and gray-clay vessels of Maeotian production as well as toiletware and jewelry pieces. The first amphora (no. 6) which is a full-standard «pythoid» variant of type II is dated to 320-310s according to strict chronological markers. The second amphora (no. 3) is preserved in fragments, no analogies to it have been found yet. The first amphora makes it possible not only to reliably date the burial but also clarify the chronology of some items that formed part of the funerary assemblage.
