The paper reviews materials of a warrior grave dug in a Bronze Age kurgan. Regarding the list of finds, in particular, its archer's set, it can be dated to 620/610590/580 BC linking it to the early Scythian cultural tradition. Analogies to rare iron arrowheads suggest that the nomadic population groups moved from the Caucasus foothills to the flooded areas of the Sea of Azov.
