Existing schemes of a periodization of Late Pleistocenic events remain debatable and not always answer questions on quantity, chronology and character of variability of landscape conditions in this period. Such situation is bound to incompleteness of geologic, paleogeographic and paleopedological chronicle in Late Pleistocenic depositions of East European plain. The first studies of soil chronological sequences (the series of soils consisting from day surface soil and several buried soils) of the most eastern upland in the center of East European plain (the Chuvash plateau), show, as here the Late Pleistocenic and Late Valdai in particular, cover loess loams are pedolithociclitis, though also a little different from analogues bodies to the west and more close to the boundaries of a Late Valdai ice-cap.
