Errors in similarity formulas for centrifugal sewage pumps

The purpose of this article is to develop a method for calculating the parameters of centrifugal sewage pumps based on classical formulas for the similarity of vane pumps and taking into account factory test data. A graphical dependence of the operating characteristics of pumps with different impeller diameters, calculated using similarity formulas and empirical dependencies of an experimental nature, is presented. The considered method makes it possible to determine the error in determining the operating characteristics of pumps with different impeller diameters.
