Search for acceptable strategies for joint drilling of two gas fields

A continuous dynamic approximate model of development of two fields is considered. The control parameters are drilling capacities allocated for each field. The dynamics of the model is defined by a system of differential equations, which is subject to study for controllability and generality of the situation. A practical problem of optimal control is set. The maximum of discounted accumulated income is chosen as the optimality criterion. In some cases, the optimal solution comes to a contradiction with the practical implementation of the optimal solution. Methods for overcoming this contradiction due to a partial loss of optimality are proposed.
