The article discusses the issues of solving global, new emerging problems, namely, how to correctly and rationally use the funds of charitable organizations and foundations in order to set priorities and make the right choice to finance solutions to global problems. Thus, it is necessary to use the achievements in the field of fundamental and applied research, which will make it possible to most effectively combat climate change, poverty and a future pandemic.
