Searching for interaction of PR subjects in Russia and China: view of the Russian party

The article examines the current state (2021-2022) of interaction between PR subjects of the two countries, Russia and China, from the perspective of the Russian party. The study takes into account the opinions of federal representatives of the sphere of public communications, as well as of the Far Eastern PR-specialists, who are witnesses and direct participants in the interaction of PR subjects of the two countries. The authors explore four areas of cooperation: 1) between Russian retailers and Chinese brands, 2) among PR-agencies of the two countries, 3) at the level of professional associations in the development of public relations in Russia and China, 4) between experts in different fields. The results showed different dynamics of interaction at each level, but often the initiative is shown by the Russian side, the representatives of PR-subjects of China are open to dialogue, but take a cautious stance as an observer.
