«A poem of beginning» and «the word» by N. Gumilev as poetic manifestations of acmeistic conception of a word

The article considers the problem of epistemological and magic connection of the word and the world, which has been artistically comprehended by Nikolai Gumilev in his two lyrical masterpieces of 1921. It is proven that Gumilev, in order to justify his “logocentric” theory, consults both the modern theosophical teaching and mystical theology.
