Poeticity, artisticity, aestheticity: on correlation of the concepts

Бесплатный доступ

The author of the article considers the concepts of artisticity and aestheticity in correlation with the concept of poeticity which is introduced in the theory of poetic translation. It is regarded as the ontological property of the poetic text distinguishing it from other types of text and defined as its typological dominant. Poeticity is unity of the typological properties of the poetic text, i.e. spirituality, imagery and aesthetically evaluative language objectivation. The correlation of artisticity and poeticity is thought to be generic-specific, while the correlation of poeticity and aestheticity depends on the interpretation of modality of aesthetic and artistic phenomena.
