75 women were examined to determine the relationship between the increased level of the marker of endothelial dysfunction of homocysteine, C-reactive protein and fibrinogen in pregnant women with preeclampsia at the full term. All pregnant women underwent clinical and laboratory research in the third trimester of pregnancy. The level of homocysteine was determined by ELISA, the highly sensitive C-reactive protein (CRP) was an immunoturbidimetric method with latex amplification. Statistical analysis was performed using the functions of the software package SPSS 12.1, Statistica. The Mann-Whitney test was applied at a significance level of 0.05. To study the degree of correlation between the indicators, the Spearman nonparametric correlation coefficient was used. Positive correlations of markers of systemic inflammation (CRP) with the indicator of coagulation hemostasis by fibrinogen have been established, which indicates the possibility of using these indicators as markers of PE severity. Elevated homocysteine levels can be used as an additional research method in the diagnosis of severe preeclampsia along with generally accepted diagnostic criteria.
