In plasma and erythrocytes of patients with ovarian cancer at the III clinical stage FIGO after chemotherapy scheme CAP assessed indicators of oxidative modification of proteins, the parameters of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant enzyme element of the system. It has been found elevated levels in plasma and erythrocytes of patients with ovarian cancer after chemotherapy products of oxidative modification of proteins and lipid peroxidation. The simultaneous increase in plasma activity of antioxidant enzymes under study may indicate that the system goes "lipid peroxidation-antioxidant" to a higher level of functioning. Given that the simultaneous reduction of the activity of antioxidant enzymes in the erythrocytes indicates the possibility of oxidative stress in them. Such dynamics of redox-dependent processes in the various components of blood tumor-bearing organisms characterizes biological portrait of the tumor and dictates the feasibility of using differentiated multicomponent antioxidant therapy in patients with ovarian cancer.
