The article presents the study results of the occupational injuries Republic of Crimea in agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish farming of the Republic of Crimea for the period 2017-2022. The structure and dynamics of occupational safety indicators have been studied, a comparative analysis of statistical data on the occupational injuries in Russia and the Republic of Crimea has been carried out, and regional features of the occupational injuries in the agricultural sector of the Crimean economy have been identified. It has been established that it was in 2021 when agriculture revealed the frequency of the occupational injuries as one of the highest among all types of economic activity, both in Russia and in the Republic of Crimea. Despite the positive dynamics in reducing the frequency of the occupational injuries in Russia from 2017 to 2021, the level of fatal injuries remained almost unchanged, and the share of fatal injuries increased by 18%. In the Republic of Crimea, over the indicated period, the frequency of the occupational injuries increased by almost 30% against the backdrop of a decrease in the average number of employees by 32%, and the frequency of fatal injuries in 2021 exceeded the average for all sectors of the economy by 4 times. The most traumatic sub-sector of agriculture in Russia is farming, while in the Crimea it is plant growing, which is due to the specifics of agriculture in the region. The share of deaths out of the total number of injuries in Crimea significantly exceeded the average Russian value over the past years, while the number of days of disability per one victim in the Republic of Crimea in 2021 was almost 3 times lower than the national average. Attention is drawn to the controversial situation with incomplete accounting of all those employed in the agricultural sector of the economy in the general statistics of injuries, which makes it difficult to really assess occupational safety indicators in the Republic of Crimea.
