Indicators of the development of the human capital ecosystem

This article examines the role of human capital in the knowledge economy. It is shown that its formation and development take place not within the framework of the education system, but in ecosystems that include educational institutions, enterprises, innovative infrastructure and other participants. At the same time, higher educational institutions are located at the core of the ecosystems of human capital reproduction, the ecosystem connections of which have a significant impact on the development of the competencies of future personnel. The paper analyzes data from international university rankings, the results of monitoring higher education and secondary vocational education, and data from ratings conducted by the online recruitment platform hh.ru which confirm the importance of the Russian education system in the training of qualified specialists and the development of human capital. As a result of the analysis of the current state of the ecosystem of human capital reproduction, the ways to achieve the target indicators are formulated
