Polemics regarding the punctuation reform of 1964: lessons of the past

During the debates concerning the reform of orthography and punctuation in the early 1960s a lot of constructive ideas related to the requirements of Educational Act of Punctuation Rules, volume and content of part of school curriculum regarding punctuation and methods of teaching punctuation were discussed. The main conclusion, to which studied material urges on is the necessity to create the school minimum of punctuation.
