The police as a subject of law enforcement

The article is devoted to the modern period and difficult subject of the definition of administrative and legal status of the police as a subject of law enforcement. In this regard, it analyzes the problems of implementation by the police of her rights and responsibilities in the process of direct enforcement, the effectiveness of legal regulation of its activities. The author of the article the study comes to the conclusion that police reform should continue, this should be regular monitoring and public discussion of the effectiveness of normative-legal support of enforcement activities of the police.
