Polyphony of cultural tradition and modern logos

The article considers the phenomenon of cultural tradition, its role in ethnic self-identification of Daghestan ethnos and correlation with the modern logos of both European and Arabic and Muslim genesis. It is determined that the cultural tradition consists of Adat and Islam. In the structure of modern logos has appeared social and political project pretending to a new logos -Wahhabism.
