Russian myth polyphony

The article is devoted to the problems of the Russian urban mythology. In this context, the collection of articles "Polyphony of Urban Spaces. Philosophical and Cultural Theories and Chronotop Studies" (Samara, 2014) - the project that was supervised by Professor E.Ya.Burlina and involved well-known German researchers and young scientists from Samara - is reviewed. The significance of the issue for young humanity specialists is highlighted by the expert on the culture of Russian provinces, the Honored Science Worker of the Russian Federation, Professor Tatyana S.Zlotnikova and the historian, an experienced higher school manager, the first vice-rector of YSPU Professor Mikhail V.Novikov.
