Multifunctional management activities as the quintessence of the development of the leisure industry

The article examines the essence of the phenomenon of polyfunctionality in relation to the organization of managerial activity of a manager. In the context of the challenges of modern society, the immanent features of the leisure industry are characterized: digital transformation, edutainment, customization, immersiveness, network integration of innovative marketing communication formats that determine the spectrum of modernization of the resource potential of its sectors. The article reveals the substantive foundations of managerial activity, the forms of implementation of its functions that create the basis for the implementation of the social roles of the manager as a leader. The importance of taking into account the requirements that actualize the multifunctional significance of management activities in the development of the leisure industry is emphasized, to which the author refers adaptability and correlativity. Attention is paid to the specification of the principles of the social management system, which provide the possibility of stabilizing multifunctional management activities in the leisure industry.
