The relevance of the study is due to the fact that today, due to the continuing development of science and technology, public administration is again interested in the constructs of technocracy. Today, however, the legacy of technocracy is 208 Новый филологический вестник. 2019. №1(48). of very limited use, amostly utilitarian and specified. Also it is widely accepted, that technocracy as political doctrine is hostile to common humanism ethics, and this kind of development remains monument to 1960s. Taking into account the matter presented by the Russian science fiction of the 1960s, in particular works by Kazantsev, we see quite a lot of interpretations of technocracy. However not all of them opposed to the ethics of humanism. But while these philosophical ideas were expressed in literary form, through symbols and allegories, they are still not introduced into scientific discussion. The problem, therefore, is to specify methodology for analysis of the philosophical ideas of technocratism presented in the novel by Kazantsev and to introduce them into present scientific discussion. The aim of the study is to analyze one of the central novels of the Russian science fiction writer A. Kazantsev “Feety” on the basis of the proposed methodology as multy-conceptual work. The hypothesis is that ideological variable of the novel by Kazantsev was described in the framework of general concept of technocracy and technical romanticism. The task now is to identifyi leading trends in the scientific and technical romanticism of the second half of the 1960s to model possible prospects of the development on the basis of Kazantsev’s forecasts. It allows to conclude, that in his analysis of potential and prospects of the development of technocracy Kazantsev came to the idea of the necessary humanization. However in the same novel he comes to futility of absolute humanization of society and tries to level postulates of technocracy. Kazantsev claims the most productive would be Communist development of society.
