Relationship between DBH A444G polymorphism and parameters of autonomic nervous system and clinical-pathological characteristics of gastric cancer in Caucasians of the West-Siberian region was studied. Gastric cancer patients with AA-genotype appeared to have higher level of symptomatic activity, deeper tumor invasion of gastric wall, more frequent regional lymph node involvement and lower rates of 1-year survival at stage I-II gastric cancer than those with GG-genotype.
