In this paper we study the gene polymorphism ryanodine receptor (RYR1) in herds of pigs of the Republic Tatarstan, namely define the frequency of the allelic variants N and n. Our results correspond to published previously and are at the lower boundary of range of the studied parameters, and the frequency of occurrence of the mutant allele n is equal to zero.
