Choinzonov Cancer Research Institute, Tomsk Scientific Center, RAMS, Tomsk The contribution of genetic polymorphism of detoxication enzymes to increased risk for laryngeal cancer is still under discussion. The relationship between genetic polymorphism of xenobiotic biotransformation enzymes (GSTTl and GSTMl) and the risk of laryngeal cancer development has been studied. The association of GSTMl- genotype with laryngeal cancer has been found.
