Renin-angiotesine system and endothelial NO-synthetase gene polymorphism in hypertensive patients with controlled and uncontrolled hypertension

Study of the relationship of daily blood pressure (BP) profile with renin-angiotensin system (ACE, AGTR1) and endothelial NO-synthetase (eNOS3) gene polymorphism in patients with controlled and uncontrolled hypertension showed the presence of genetic determination of circadian blood pressure profile, the association of 4b/4b genotypes and 4b allele with controlled hypertension, an association of DD genotype D allele and 4a/4b genotype of NO-synthetase gene with BP profile "non dipper". BP profile "over dipper" in patients with uncontrolled hypertension is associated with AC genotype C allele of the AGTR1 gene. And in hypertensive patients with uncontrolled hypertension BP profile "over dipper" associated with AA genotype A allele of the AGTR1 gene.
