Polymorphism of psychopathological disorders in clinical picture of peptic ulcer: questions of comorbidity and diagnosis

Phenomenological and nosological structure of psychopathological disorders in 83 patients with duodenal ulcer (DU) hospitalized in Borderline States Department has been studied. Interrelationship of phase of course and stage of clinical-morphological manifestations of PU with dynamic of neurotic disorders in 42.17% of cases, affective disorders - in 34.94%, organic - in 22.89% has been found with multi factorial analysis. Associated with severity of psychopathological symptoms in 50.6% of cases, patients with PU were hospitalized in Borderline States Department in phase of relapse and fading exacerbation of ulcerous process. For the first time, diagnosis of DU has been made in 43 patients (in 16 men and in 27 women), what constituted 51.81% of total number of cases and testified to difficulties of early diagnosis of peptic ulcer in patients with psychopathological disorders.
