Political security of the person: to the methodology of analysis

The article examine various scientific approaches, methodological foundations and essential characteristics of the concept of political security of the person. The author gives his own definition and states that it is of an interdisciplinary nature in the research plan. The article distinguishes internal and external aspects of the political security of the individual, based on individual and aggregate political interests and emphasizes the importance of political socialization, the special role of patriotism as its most important structural element (criterion). The author makes a generalized conclusion that the political security of the person is one of the main priorities of social development that determine the civilizational maturity and progressiveness of society and the state.
