Political picture of the world in the system of strategic management of Russia

The complexity of ongoing political events and situations actualizes the issues of searching for methodological and analytical concepts capable of explaining political reality. The political picture of the world, which finds its source potential in political formal and informal institutions and is reflected in the political consciousness and actions of both decision-makers and ordinary citizens, can serve as a research model for understanding the ongoing processes. Strategic planning documents can reflect political pictures of the world as conceptually structured mental images that interpret the ongoing global and domestic processes and contain ideas about the target directions of political, socio-economic, environmental and technological development. The methodological basis of the research is the system and structural-functional approaches and the theory of communicative action. The author uses the method of content analysis to analyze strategic planning documents. The system of strategic management of the state not only acts as a mechanism for the translation of political pictures of the world, but also includes picture-forming political institutions. The political picture of the world in the system of strategic planning is, in fact, a compensatory mechanism of conflict prevention in the global space of interaction of different world pictures.
