Political culture and social conflict in North Korea: songun war doctrine. Part 2

Why does North Korea regularly and persistently test ballistic missiles and develops the nuclear program? The ordinary Internet users express the most absurd assumptions, up to ascertaining the insanity of the Supreme Commander of the armed forces of DPRK. In fact, it was Kim Il Sung who skillfully had maneuvered between the USSR and the USA, trying to obtain favorable arms supplies and humanitarian aid not only from the socialist, but also from capitalist countries. The current Korean leader Kim Jong-un does not try to invent something new in foreign policy: he shocks and provokes the world community to a certain degree and supports people and army of North Korea in conditions of mobilization. We believe it is necessary to have a clear idea of the military doctrine of DPRK Songun in order to avoid delusions at assessment of events on the Korean Peninsula.
