Political Values and Ideals in Modern Chinese Society: Current Trends

The article examines political values and ideals that are characteristic of modern China. It analyzes the reasons that contributed to their formation, as well as the main manifestations of priorities in social practice. In the context of economic globalization and rapid development of information technology, China’s political values are based on several key principles. These include party leadership, which implies the dominant role of the Communist Party of China in governing the country; maintaining social stability and harmony, which avoids conflicts and promotes peaceful coexistence between different population groups; and respect for and protection of human rights, which is an important point in the context of international standards. The country’s authorities are striving to create a legal system that will promote the rule of law in order to strengthen citizens’ trust in state institutions and understanding and interpretation of current processes in modern China. Conclusion dwells upon the fact that the study of the political values and ideals of the PRC is a multifaceted task that is of both national and international importance.
