Political parties as a major element of the political system

The article spells out that parties play an important part in the modern political system. They provide relation between the system and surrounding system, performing functions of social interests’ aggregation and articulation. The author considers a number of activities areas of the political parties in the Russian Federation, in particular, their work with young people.
