This paper examines the political leadership model in Vietnam from a national cultural perspective. Vietnam, a Southeast Asian nation and a member of ASEAN, nowadays is a country with an expanding economy and strong centralized governance. Even in the context of the 2020 pandemic, Vietnam maintains its pace of development thanks to the correct position of the authorities, which allowed to minimize cases of COVID-19 infection and keep the low mortality rate from this infection in the state. The implementation of this management strategy results in a high level of public support for the country's leadership, successfully coping with the global turbulence of our time, which is the basis for political stability and stability of the state as a whole. Based on the above, the author concludes that the Vietnamese model of political leadership can be considered as a possible model of governance for other states.
