Political Consciousness of Youth in the Context of the Transformation of the State System of Modern Russia

The study examines the specific features of the political consciousness of youth through mass online surveys conducted in 2023–2024 among respondents aged 14–35. Based on the correlation of answers to questions about attitudes toward the political sphere, the degree of familiarity with state authorities, public and youth organizations, and the participation of respondents in projects and programs implemented under the guidance of state structures, the author concludes that there is a need for a radical change in approaches to the mechanisms of involving young people in socially active activities and to creating criteria for evaluating the work of relevant institutions. According to the research on the basis of determining the attitude of young citizens towards sources of information about sociopolitical processes in the country and the world, the author justifies the need to improve ways and technologies of delivering verified data to young people through innovative approaches (for example, the application of appropriate media technologies and media practices in the format of implementation of gaming technologies).
