Policy of the Central Bank of Russia during the coronavirus pandemic and its effectiveness

This article is devoted to a detailed analysis of the effect of coronavirus infection on the banking system of the Russian Federation. Measures to support the population, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises in the crisis period are considered. Particular attention is paid to the work of banks and changes in the banking system of the country. The advantages and disadvantages of the Central Bank of Russia policy to combat the crisis and unemployment are identified. Coronavirus had a detrimental effect on the economy of all countries of the world, including the economy of the Russian Federation. In such circumstances, it is extremely important to take a full range of measures to protect all spheres of public life in order to prevent extremely negative consequences, including unemployment, reducing the number of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as poverty. Under such conditions, the normal functioning of banks and the banking system remains extremely important.
