The article deals with the political and economic aspects of the life in the modern state. In the context of globalization of the world economy we observe the dominance of economic goals and means in the activities of States and international organizations, leading to the complete elimination of the policy as an independent area of life, and ultimately - the abolition of the state and statehood as such. Therefore, an urgent need for all countries and peoples, wishing to preserve their civilizational identity, political and economic sovereignty, is the rejection of liberal ideology and developing a fundamentally different outlook on the basis of recognition of the priority of political values over economic and formation on this basis of public-oriented elite and anti-bourgeois mindset.
