Import substitution policy as a way to ensure economic security of the Russian Federation

This article discusses the policy of import substitution in the context of ensuring the economic security of the Russian Federation. The actions of the sanctions nature of unfriendly countries put forward a policy of import substitution in Russia to a fundamentally new level. In the new realities, domestic companies are rapidly creating their own innovative products, trying to ensure the economic sovereignty of the state. A brief description of the organizational structure of the import substitution policy, the dynamics of production of the main types of import-substituting food products, the dynamics of imports by the main categories of food products is presented. The list of goods of domestic production, the size of the minimum mandatory share of purchases of which is over 90%, is considered.
