Memory politics in the post-Soviet space: the image of the USSR in the historical memory of Central Asian countries

In this article, the author considers general trends in the formation of the image of the USSR and the perception of its role in the historical memory of the Central Asian states (Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan) in the context of the study of memory politics in the post-Soviet space.
