The study considers the need to strengthen the state regulation of employment, due to the growth of the significance of the regional aspect of the development of the economy. An approach is proposed that reflects the feasibility of allocating territorial and economic entities in the region to regulate employment. Within the framework of this problem, the determination of the regulation of employment in the region, taking into account the specifics of its individual territorial and economic entities in the implementation of the regional employment policy, is very significant.
