Political-geographical and geopolitical position of the cooperation Council for the Arab States of the gulf: retrospective and present

The paper presents the political, geographical and geopolitical situation of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, as well as the historical stages of development of this regional geopolitical system. The author's periodization of regional geopolitical epochs is proposed. The internal geopolitical structure of the region, regional geopolitical problems, the interaction of the GCC with Russia and other aspects of the problem are considered separately.
