Political and legal education of youth in the modern society

The issues of the upringing of the younger generation are still actual. In modern Russia the attention to them are increasing. It is concerned with the specific nature of the historic period of the country development. Herewith the special focus is on the political and legal education of the youth because the youth is the most vulnerable social group, also they are subject to the outer influence. Taking into account that the youth is the striking strength owning the ability to active and decisive actions, the gaps in their upbringing may become a real threaten for the national security of Russia within the context of the quick change of the geopolitical situation. Given this the author draws attention to the necessity of the political and legal education of the youth in order to develop political and legal awareness and culture of young people. Herewith the author places great store on the realization of the gradual purposeful legal training in the form of the legal enlightenment.
