Political-legal views of thinkers in eastern Ukraine

The article is examined some of the political-legal views, which are formed on the territory of the contemporary Donetsk (Ukraine) in the period before 1917 year. The author is discussed the political-legal principles of a number of thinkers, public figures, writers somehow or other associated with Hughesovka. Some of them are first introduced into the scientific use of historical-legal science. The article is attempted to research from the standpoint of history the political and legal doctrines of the scientific ideas of famous domestic scientists and public figures as W. Berwi-Flerowski, V. Veresaev, as well as previously unstudied and unexamined political-legal views of Archpriest Father Porphyrius Matveevskiy and Professor L. Ishkov. Some related with Donetsk facts from the life of the great scientist D. Mendeleev and famous lawyer G. Sliozberg are mentioned in the article.
